ASBESTOS PROJECT MONITOR

This course has been designed for anyone (other than an asbestos abatement contractor, or their employee), who oversees the scope, timing, phasing and/or remediation methods to be utilized on any asbestos project.

A Project Monitor must possess a valid Project Monitor certificate and must have their certificate or a copy of their certificate with them at all times while working on the project.

This 5-day course (8 hours per day) combines lectures, discussions and hand-on workshops to accredit individuals who serve as on-site representatives of building owners to oversee asbestos abatement work.
Course includes the following topics:
· State-of-the-art work practices
· Personal hygiene
· Safety hazards
· Air monitoring
· Personal protective equipment
· Regulatory overview
· Supervisory techniques.
